Alex Echevarria

Alex Echevarría is a former collegiate baseball player with over eight years of coaching experience, dedicated to developing the next generation of ballplayers. Originally from Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico, Coach Alex brings a disciplined, player-first approach to training through his program, BuildingPros9.

Coach Alex focuses on more than just skill development. His goal is to help athletes build confidence, discipline, and a winning mindset that carries over both on and off the field. He offers well-rounded instruction in hitting, pitching, infield and outfield defense, catching, speed and agility, and the mental side of the game.

Each session is structured, challenging, and motivating, with an emphasis on proper mechanics, performance growth, and long-term development. Argenis Diaz

Born in Guatire, Venezuela, Argenis Diaz showcased his baseball talent from a young age despite limited resources. Díaz was signed by the Boston Red Sox organization in July 2003 as an international free agent. On April 21, 2010, Diaz made his MLB debut with the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Known for his exceptional defensive skills at shortstop, Diaz earned accolades for his remarkable plays. In 2018, he began coaching with the Pittsburgh Pirates, working with prospects O'Neil Cruz and Rodolfo Castro. His coaching experience led him to develop his methodology and establish 5Pro Professional Training. He is now a partner providing lessons at The Dugout in collaboration with NTC. As a pro trainer, membership discounts do not apply for private lessons booked with Cach Diaz.

Austin Amaral

Austin Amaral is a professional baseball player from DeBary, Florida, who played collegiately at Stetson University before beginning his professional career. He has spent the past three years pitching in the Washington Nationals organization, developing into a high-level arm averaging 95 MPH and reaching as high as 98 MPH.

Austin’s development was built through years of learning, adjusting, and finding ways to improve. That experience shapes his approach as an instructor, focusing on pitching mechanics, velocity development, arm care, and overall performance.

Ava Matthews

Ava Matthews is a graduate of Seminole High School, where she helped lead her team to a Florida State Championship Runner-Up finish in 2024. Following her high school career, Ava earned a softball scholarship to Flagler College, where she is currently a sophomore and a member of the softball team. She also played travel softball for the Wildfire Paulson organization.

As a pitcher at Flagler College, Ava threw 92 innings during the 2025 season, continuing to develop her skills and compete at the collegiate level. Her experiences as both a high school and college athlete have shaped her passion for the game and her desire to help young athletes reach their full potential.

Ava believes in teaching discipline and that softball is more than just a game—it is a lesson that helps shape character and can be applied throughout life. As both a player and coach, she is passionate about helping athletes grow on and off the field. Ava plans to continue her education after her softball career and pursue a future dedicated to helping others while making a positive impact on the next generation of athletes.

Cheyanne compton

CheyeAnne Compton brings over 20 years of playing experience and more than a decade of coaching to The Dugout. Her softball career began at age eight and included competing at an elite travel level across the country and representing Team USA overseas at just 13 years old.

CheyeAnne was a three-year varsity starter at Trinity Christian Academy after earning a varsity roster spot as an eighth grader. Today, she continues to develop young athletes as a coach within the Central Florida Pride program.

Specializing in softball pitching and overall player development, CheyeAnne focuses on strong fundamentals, confidence in the circle, and the mental side of the game. CADE PETERSON

Cade Peterson is a current collegiate baseball player at John Melvin Christian College with over 15 years of playing experience. A graduate of Umatilla High School, Cade led his team in home runs, stolen bases, and runs scored.

At the collegiate level, Cade is a versatile two-way utility player with experience in the infield, outfield, and on the mound. His well-rounded background allows him to work with players across multiple areas of the game, including hitting, fielding, pitching, and baserunning.

David Pringle

David Pringle brings nearly two decades of coaching and teaching experience to The Dugout. A former college player at the University of South Florida and Rollins College, David competed in the 2004 Division II World Series and earned multiple All-Academic Honor Roll awards. As a high school senior, he was named to the 1999 Florida All-State Team.

David’s coaching background includes leading Orangewood Christian to a state runner-up finish, coaching at Lyman High School — where he worked with Cincinnati Reds infielder Santiago Espinal — and mentoring numerous draft picks and current pro players in the Florida Collegiate Summer League.

With experience coaching all skill levels, David specializes in pitching, hitting, throwing, defense, mental skills, and strength and conditioning. Jessie Grissom

Coach Jessie is a Hagerty High School graduate. She played four years of softball there and helped lead her team to an 88-7 record and finished runner-up in the 8A State Champion Runner-Up. Jessie earned a scholarship to continue playing at the collegiate level with the St. Johns River State Vikings. Here she posted an impressive (.418) batting average, (.559) on-base percentage, and a (.784) slugging percentage for the Vikings.

Since concluding her tenure as a student-athlete in 2017,she has shifted her focus to coaching. Jessie coaches a CFL Pride team nicknamed the “GrissGang” and works with athletes in hitting, fielding, strength, and conditioning training.

T - Mack

Hailing from Orlando, FL, T-Mack has been passionate about baseball since age 4. He was drafted out of Boone High School by the Baltimore Orioles in the 21st round of the 1998 MLB draft. He brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the game. With over 12 years of coaching both baseball and fast-pitch softball, he has honed his skills and knowledge to help players excel. In his free time, T-Mack continues to compete at the highest level in adult softball traveling across the country with several sponsorships. He is proud to have his own signature bat, "THE MACK."
